Hello student,

Given below are all details about BPT:-

SCOPE

In the health-care system, a physiotherapy profession can lead to a range of demanding and exciting employment. Specializations in geriatrics, cardiorespiratory, geriatrics, orthopaedics, and neurology are available to physiotherapists. You can also get a PhD and work in the field of research. Physiotherapy will have a broad reach in the future. There are several job options both in India and overseas.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must have passed the test held by the particular institutions/universities in order to be admitted to the physiotherapy programme. You must meet the following criteria in order to be admitted:

  • Should have reached the age of 17 years.
  • Should have received at least 50 percent in the 10+2 exams.
  • Plus two examinations in physics, chemistry, and biology are required.
  • A strong admission exam score is required.

CAREER

In this career, there is a lot of potential. You will first be referred to as a doctor, and your function will be that of a physiotherapist.

People in today's generation face a slew of muscular skeletal issues in their daily lives. Life is hectic, and we have become accustomed to automation. We used to suffer backache, sciatica, lumbago, and other problems since we didn't utilise our muscles' ability in our daily lives. A physiotherapist is a professional who assists in the treatment of such conditions. A physiotherapist can work as a health advisor, doctor, physical trainer, or sports coach.

After completing the course, you may pursue further education as an M.PT. or a PhD. It is required to obtain a bachelor's degree in order to work in hospitals, health organisations, or private practise. You can work for the Ministry of Sports, a stadium, a hospital, a health society, or as a freelancer. As a result of the high demand for this course in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and others, there is a strong chance to go overseas after completing it. Rehabilitation centres, industrial health units, schools, the military forces, and colleges are all possible places to work.

SALARY

The starting salary of a physiotherapist is determined by the college where he earned his degree and the firm where he will be employed. A physiotherapist's starting pay in India is between Rs. 2 and 2.5 lakh per year. However, depending on the firm, after acquiring experience and obtaining a higher degree, the pay might be increased up to 5 lakh.

Hope this helps!
