Hello Arav

In order to pursue MA in French Language through distance mode candidate must have completed the Bachelors degree program in any stream from recognized University. Beside this one must have acquired the basic knowledge in the respective language equivalent to at least a two year diploma level course. Otherwise one must have studied the language as an elective subject or as second language in the Bachelors program.

There are some Universities which do provide MA in French program through distance mode. Following are the list of some of the well recognized Universities:

Indira Gandhi National Open University - IGNOU

The Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages [CIEFL], Hyderabad

Bangalore University

Mumbai University.

Arav,, to study a subject or a language in your Post Graduation, you should have studied that subject or language in your Bachelor's as well. In your case if you  had French as a language in your Graduation, you can study MA French. Or else, unfortunately you cannot.
