Dear aspirant,

It is definitely okay to do MBA after graduation in journalism and mass communication, rather now top B schools are coming up with excellent certifications for Journalism, also if you want you may do MBA in journalism and mass media. This will help you to gain more experience in the field of content creation team . Also following is the eligibility for MBA:

  • A 50% score in Bachelor's degree, however for top IIM or B schools a CGPA of above 9 is required during graduation.
  • A decent score in entrance examination. For top institutes a CAT score of 95 to 99 percentile is required.
  • Along with this basic work experience, interview and group discussion (varies from different institutions) needs to be cleared.

The field has scope and all you need to do is work consistently.

Hope this helps.

All the best.
