Absolutely. There are  lots of companies who hire students from both ECE and CSE studentgs. It is a misunderstanding that CSE student can get all the  jobs and othere branches lack. ECE and CSE are the strongest branches with respect to placements in the IT industry. You have to have a good knowledge of subjects like data structure, C/C++, database management and I can assure you, you will get placed even ahead of CSE stuidents who dont study hard.
