After plus two I wrote cuet exam and I choose psychology as my BA psychology and after my graduation I apply for civil service and and after that I will apply for PG for Canadian University how was my plan about my career
Hello,
That’s a good plan BA Psychology is a good choice because it helps in UPSC preparation (topics like human behavior, society, ethics). Doing Civil Services prep after graduation makes sense. If UPSC doesn’t work out, PG in Canada is a great backup—you’ll have both academic + global career options. Just make sure to:
- Maintain strong academics in BA.
- Build writing and current affairs skills for UPSC.
- Prepare early for IELTS/TOEFL if you’re serious about Canada.
Your plan is ambitious but very practical if you stay consistent.
Thank you and all the best!
Your plan looks well-structured. Choosing BA Psychology through CUET is a good start as it gives you a strong academic base. Preparing for Civil Services after graduation is also a solid option, but it requires consistent effort and dedication. If you later plan to apply for PG in a Canadian university, you should focus on maintaining good grades, gaining relevant experience, and preparing for exams like IELTS or TOEFL. Overall, your path is clear, but make sure to balance your civil services preparation with academic performance to keep both options open.
Hello Aspirant,
Your plan seems organized, and objective-oriented. I believe that pursuing psychology (degree program) is a good choice, as it develops both analytical and interpersonal skills that can be beneficial to preparation for Civil Services. Attempting Civil Services after graduation allows you to spend some time making your preparations before the exam! If you want to later be accepted for PG in Canada, that just adds to international experience and career/service opportunities. Just remember to stay committed to your preparation and leave some options for other back up and goals on the side.
Hello Aspirant,
It is obvious you have a clear plan and a well-organized way to realize it. The BA Psychology through CUET is a smart and impactful place to start. After your graduation you could pursue Civil Services, which preserves your options in India, and pursue your PG in a Canadian university later, which will enhance international opportunities. What is important however is to make sure you prepare for UPSC while maintaining an academic performance that is strong enough to support both options.
