AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination), a common test for admission to all government engineering institutes across the country.

it has become the most important exam after IIT-JEE (common entrance test for admission to IITs across the country), as there are a huge number of colleges that take admission through this examination.

Dear Ranjeet
The last year for AIEEE is 2012 and after that year,  it's converted to JEE mains. And if you're eligible for IIT JEE and you got good marks you'll get seat in NIT but if you try hard and can try to make your move to clear JEE advanced tests also then you are eligible to enter into IIT.
