Qualifying Examination - Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021. Candidates appearing for the class 12 board examination in  JEE Main 2022  exam will be also eligible.

Subjects to study in 10+2 or equivalent - Candidates must have studied a minimum of 5 subjects which will be considered. They are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject, Language and any other subject

12th percentage required for JEE Mains 2022 - Candidates should secure a minimum of 75% in the 12th class exam for admission. For BArch admissions, the minimum marks is 50%.

The major details of joint entrance exam mains which is very important for you to know are mentioned below. I have tried to put all the information in easy and understanding language:

• Joint entrance exam will be conducted in 4 attempts. This 4 attempts will be expected in the months February, March, April, and May.
• There are no official dates announced for registration and  entrance examination but it is expected that the registration date will be in the 3rd to 4th week of December.

Jee main 2022 is conducted by National testing agency minimum two times a year or four times in a year. This is a three hour duration test conducted in online mode. There are two section of each subject- Physics, chemistry and maths each of 100 marks.

The first section consists of MCQ types question

The second section consists of Numerical answer based questions.

Most of the time the difficulty level remains easy to moderate . However , it might happen that the difficulty level may increase.

The exam is conducted for admission in engineering college for b.tech or b.arch programme.
