Hey aspirant
Chances of getting admission for government medical colleges for the above mark is less. You need to score a minimum of 500+ to secure a government seat. Even in private medical college also you need to get 450+ according to previous year trend. With 280 mark you can get admission in deemed colleges. But as it have fees its better to drop one more year so that you you could prepare more . Hello
First of all congratulations, Although it is very difficult for you to get a government college in this score even under sc category and ex-servicemen quota. The defence quota/ex-servicemen quota works in 85% of state counselling and not the all india counseling. If you have a domicile of a particular state it might help a little bit.
You should fill up in state counselling as there might be a chance to get a college.
I think if you can then you should drop a year as it would be a more smart choice , a score of 400+ in the next attempt will make your chances good for getting a government college.
All the best !
