Hello Abdul !

ANN i.e. Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery is a  diploma course of  18 months and GNM i.e General Nursing and Midwifery is  3 years & 6 month duration program.

Both of these course are good , you can opt any of them based on your interest like , By doing ANM you will do the treatment of children, women & old age people , and by doing GNM you will deal with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery.

Also , there are very good future scopes after doing these courses like , you can go for higher studies , You can also work at education Institutions, nursing tutor, ICU nurse & Infection control nurse.

You have to qualify the basic eligibility criteria for getting admission for these courses ,  Eligibility criteria for ANM is :

  2. Your score should be at least 40-50% marks in the qualifying examination.
  3. Minimum age requirement is 17 years
  4. Only female students can apply for this course.

Eligibility criteria for GNM is:
