My Permanent Address is in Kolkata,West Bengal. However, for job purpose we are residing in Maharashtra. My son is in Maharashtra Board. Ca he take admission in Jadavpur Engineering College.
Other state students are also eligible to get admission in all the private college and university including Jadavpur University.
Jadavpur University is a State University of West Bengal and thus the admission is done through WBJEE, Jadavpur university doesn’t take admissions through Jee Mains .
So, if you want to get into Jadavpur, first sit for WBJEE.
To get into JU, you need to get a rank under 1500, If you are going for Electronics, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 600–700. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction -etc then scoring under 1200–1500 will be enough.

To be eligible to get admission at Jadavpur University you should have at least 60% (45% for reserved category students) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Math.
