If you are interested in Mining, then you should look forward to Colleges like NIT Surathkal , NIT Rourkela and IIEST Shibpur . They have a pretty good department for mining engineering . But I would like that if you want to pursue engineering in Core branches , then you should try to pursue in ECE and EEE. These offer pretty good work and see their position in various sectors of future .
