Manipal University offers scholarship on the basis on Merit in these ways :

1. Freeship - In this scholarship there is no tuition fee. But hostel fee needs to be paid. To get this scholarship a student needs to score within 1000 rank in MU-OET. Tuition fee waiver also depends on parental income. But it comes at a condition that students need to maintain a CGPA of 8 in his entire course duration of 4 years.

2. AICTE - To avail this scholarship you need to score decent rank in MU-OET. Tuition fee is reduced significantly. It depends on how much is the parental income of the student. For different parental income range, different tuition fee is waivered. There is no CGPA criteria. But if the student wants to change his/her branch after 1st year, he/she needs to give up the scholarship and pay the normal tuition fee from 2nd year onwards.
