Hi Alok,

All of these above fields are best in their own way. Out of the above let's start with Biotechnology. This field is not yet so well developed in India, therefore has less scope in India. In India you might have some scope only when you want to go in for research work. But if you want to study abroad then you can go for it. Biotechnology is an extensively wanted field abroad.

Coming to Pharmacy, if you do B.Pharma from a well recognised college, you will get a chance to go abroad for some projects. After B.Pharm you get the licence to open a Medical Store, giving you a great future in Business of Medicine. B.Pharma and M.Pharma can earn money sitting at home. Whenever any shop wants to sell any medicine, they need the sign of B.Pharma people. So you can make money out of it.

Pschycology:- There are different kind of Pschycology, The Pschycology course having biology is known as biopsychology or Physiological Psychology. You have great scope in this field if you do higher studies and to be successful in this field, you have to do a lot of additional courses as well as a part of your higher studies, to achieve great success and earn more money in this field.

Next coming to agriculture and veterinary, In these two courses if you can do it from a well recognised Government College,( For Agriculture, Kalyani University and any Government College that you can get through AIPVT)  you have great scope. These two fields have easy access to government jobs. So if you do not want to do lot of higher studies, then one of these two is the best for you.

Physiotherapy, is kind of Pschycology course only but have less importance. Only if you have a certificate from a well recognised  Government College then you can bag in a well paid job in a Good Hospital.Much of Higher studies is not required in this field.

Hopefully I have been able to solve your query.Comment below for any more queries.

AIPVT makes you eligible for all the seats. Regarding state quota Admission or Maharashtra has separatel Admission, I really don't have a clear idea about that.

Well,NEET as you know is the gateway to all the Medical colleges for MBBS and BDS in India except for AIIMS and JIPMER. In short,to be a 'Doctor' you need to get through them. Right from the day you opt Biology in you 10+2 people start cultivating this belief in your mind that you have to be a doctor given the fact that a doctor enjoys unparalled status in our society. But cracking NEET is not a cakewalk given the vast competition in this field. But it not always have to be MBBS there are so many interesting fields that one can go for if you have had Biology in your
Intermediates.
Now coming to your question of back up,well yes it is always good to have alternatives but the options you mentioned as back ups have their own aura and can't be compared on any scale. For heaven's sake get yourself out of those conventional beliefs which is the sole reason why many people can't pursue the course of their choice. It all depends on your calling.
Physiotherapy: This field prepares you to cure people not merely by medicines but also manual treatment. This field gives you the opportunity to add moments to people's lives by improving their movements by means of exercise etcetera. For this you need to obtain a Bachelors in Physiotherapy which is a 4 years and 6 months course. After that you may go for Masters in this field that will give you specialisation.Well, a physiotherapist is quite in demand.
Agriculture: As you know that the economy of our country mainly depends upon the agriculture so this field prepares you to work to modify the conventional agricultural techniques. There is so much to explore in this field. There is a huge scope of a graduate in this field in both government and private sectors.
Veterinary: If you can empathise with animals and can understand their importance and emotions then go for this field. To be an Animal's doctor you got to be the most humane being for you have to treat on them who can't even utter what they are going through. Don't be a vet if you are not fond of the furry beings.
Psychology: Well,Psychology is one of the most interesting fields that prepares you to analyse human minds. In todays world when so many people are becoming the victims of depression and desperately need counselling you can be their helping hand. Though the pay is intially low but it would satiate your desire of aesthetic wisdom.
Pharmacy: Well, a doctor can't treat a patient all alone. He needs medicines, drugs etcetera to treat his patients. This field is in huge demand and a must-go if you really want to make a career in the Medical related fields.
Biotechnology: Well, Biotechnology is a broad field in itself. It works on modifying the genetic constitution of animals so that human diseases can be studied. It basically involves the use of technology to improve life. This field has huge scope in both private and government sectors.
See,all above fields are equally good but be sure of what interests you the most. The fact that you have studied Biology cannot vouch for the fact that you will do wonders in these fields. It depends on you dedication and hard work. Moreover, there are so many Science Students who switch to Humanities. So it is all your calling.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
