My answer is if u like what you are doing then every thing will be the best.
The main branches available in BTech or BE
Computer science
Information technology
Mechanical engineering
EEE
ECE
Automobile engineering
Mechatronics
Aeronautical engineering
If u are interested in coding and programming you can choose CSE.
If you like robotics and automation then you can choose mechatronics , if you like machines related u can choose mechanical , if u are in networking or communication you can choose ECE.
Some institutions also provide courses on artificial intelligence, marine engineering, petroleum engineering.
Apart from these u also make enquiry about the placement of the college before joining, if college provide good placement you can choose any branch. Otherwise it will be tough to get placed.

The choice of the course depends totally upon your likes and dislikes
If you like programming You should opt for Computer science
If you like hardware like micro controller,raspberry pi then you can go for electronics engineering as well as EXTC(telecommunication)
If you are into making and inventing mechanical stuff you can join Mechanical engineering
There are many more courses like Aerospace,Information Technology,Robotics etc
