To be good in Cyber Security your basic fundamentals should be strong because to break into something you need to understand how that something works. This is a very dynamic field and things change rapidly. These fundamental will allow you to adapt to new technologies.

For ex. To hack a website you need to know how a website works, how it is hosted, how it communicates with the user, What technology it uses, then only you can find some vulnerability present in the system.

So to understand the system you need to spend a lot of time working on fundamentals and doing lots of practice. You need to understand that any degree cant teach you how to break into the system, you need a hackers mindset , hard work and for that study the required with the available resources like books , online materials, security forums etc.

But if you need time to study, going for a degree is not a bad option but you should also be working on the above research part apart from the degree syllabus. If you are planning for PG you will get 2 years of time to improve your skills and play with system but if you dont have that much time you can go for PG diploma course in C-DACPGDCoursesBrochureswhich is 6 month course and has a pretty good placement record.

Coming to your question..

For full time PG you can select any college and start working on your skills, but I would recommend IIIT-HM.Tech in Computer Science and Information Security
