The BDS first year syllabus includes -

• General Anatomy , Histology and Embryology
• General Human Physiology and Biochemistry
• Dental Anatomy, Embryology and Oral Histology
• Preclinical Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge

For BPT first year syllabus has -

• Anatomy
• Physiology
• Biochemistry
• Biomechanics
• Sociology
• Psychology
• Basic Physiotherapy
• Nursing

There may be some extra subjects in both the courses like language and other subsidiary subjects.
Both courses have almost the same syllabus in the first year because first year is all about basics . The difference lies that in BDS they will teach you about teeth whereas in BPT they will teach you about caring patients, understanding the psychology with physiotherapy . Though the subjects are different , you need to integrate them in profession.
