Forensic Science or Bachelor of Science Honours in Forensic Science is an undergraduate Forensic Science course. The course includes crime scene investigation techniques, advanced chemical and microbiological analysis and specialist areas such as forensic entomology and forensic anthropology.  After completing your degree, you can open your own forensic practice & forensic service offices. You also may employ in Forensic Laboratories, Detective Offices, Banks and other Govt.

To be eligible in B.Sc forensic science Aspiring students should have passed 10+2 with science or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% from a recognised school board.

A bachelor of science degree in forensic science is known as a B.Sc Forensic Science. It is a specialised curriculum created for those interested in pursuing a career in forensics. This is a bachelor's degree programme. The B.Sc Forensic Science programme lasts three years. It is a B.Sc. course that is part of the forensic science programme. As it's one of the least competitive courses, it has a greater scope as the need for forensic specialists grows. Individuals with a B.Sc. in forensic science are trained to assist in the investigation of crimes and to identify suspects using materials found at crime scenes such as blood, body fluids, finger prints, clothing fibres, and DNA profiling.


Eligibility Criteria:


The requirements for enrolling in a B.Sc Forensic Science programme vary per college. Several institutions hold entrance tests or accept the results of a state or university-level entrance examination to admit qualified applicants. Other colleges provide admission to the B.Sc Forensic Science programme based on 10+2 merit.


  • A satisfactory completion of 10+2 in physics, chemistry, and biology from a relevant board is necessary.
  • In 10+2, they must receive at least 50% of the marks.
