For BTech at APJ Abdul Kalam technical University the total fees is 66,100 per year, This include the hostel fee as well. so for four years it's around 2.5 lakhs

• Total Fees: 4.84 Lakhs
• B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering-Total Fees: 4.89 Lakhs
• B.Tech Mechanical Engineering-Total Fees: 4.70 Lakhs
• B.Tech Civil Engineering-Total Fees: 2.88 Lakhs

B.tech fees and hostel fees varies from college to college. In private colleges it is around and above 1 lakh and in government colleges it is as low as 30-40 k per year. 

Even in some colleges like Dayalbagh and Jadavpur, it is less than 5k per year for college fee.
