Btech Mechanical student can give BITS "HD exam" for pursuing ME in CSE field?

Hello,

BITS (Birla Institute of Technical Science) Pilani conducts an online entrance exam known as BITS HD.

entrance test is helps you to pursue higher degree programmes under BITS leading to M.E./M.Pharma offered by all the three campuses - Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa.

As you want to pursue CSE field you are eligible if you have Integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation or its equivalent.

And if you want to pursue micro electronic then you are eligible if you have Integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Physics or its equivalent.

If you are  applying through GATE/GPAT route, then you  need to upload a self-attested scanned copy of their GATE/GPAT scorecard.

So a mechanical engineer is not eligible to pursue ME in CSE field in any BITS ?
