Can a 63 percentage student appear jee mains

Hi Prashantjit,

However there are some criteria that you should have minimum of 75% in your 12th class(General Category) to be eligible for JEE mains (65% for other categories). You don't fall under this criteria, so you are not eligible for JEE Mains.

The following eligibility will be considered during admission, not during appearing in the jee main exam or filling the application form.



For admissions toNITs/IIITs/GFTIs:



Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
