Mechanical engineering candidate unfortunately not given such opportunity as tgey lack basic experience and fundamental skills
However students from aerospace and Aeronautical engineering candidates are given such critical roles.
If you have relevance skikksets and experience and tremendous certification in this area only then you canbe considered.
