If an individual meets the NEET eligibility requirements in terms of subjects and other criteria, such as completing their 12th grade education through a regular school, they can participate in NEET 2018.

It's worth noting that, following a Supreme Court ruling, candidates from NIOS, open state boards, and CBSE private candidates are also eligible for NEET 2018 provided they achieve a score of 50% or more in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
