Colleges under COMEDK follow a reservation policy for certain number of seats in Engineering and Architecture colleges for some categories. The criteria are primarily considered during the seat allottment process.

the following students can apply for reserved seats in COMEDK 2019:

• SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka
• Those who belong to Hyderabad-Karnataka Region
• Candidates who have Tulu/Telugu/Tamil Linguistic Minority status
• Those from Religious minority in Karnataka
