In order to become an Ayurvedic doctor, you need to appear for NEET first. As neet is the only Entrance examination for admission to all Medical, dental and ayush courses in India and Abroad. There are certain criteria to be eligible for Neet. As per the Neet eligibility criteria, the candidate must has passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with English and Physics, Chemistry annd Biology or Biotechnology (have to pass in both the theory and practical examination) with at least 50% (for general category) marks in aggregate of PCB (Includes both theory and practical score) and the minimum marks criteria is 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates and 45% marks for PwD candidates. So, if you meet the above mentioned percentage criteria in PCB then you are eligible for Neet examination. The candidates must be at least 17 years old as on December 31 of the year of examination. As of now, there is no maximum age criteria until Supreme Court passes any judgement on it. You can apply for Neet 2021 once the application releases. NEET Application usually releases in the month of December. This year it has not yet released but it is expected that the application will release soon. BAMS admission is impossible with NEET in most of the states in India. In the present time, some of the states in India have Made Neet UG exam compulsory. But some oftthe colleges in the states like Maharashtra and Uttarakhand take Direct admission in BAMS course to Neet Eligible Students only. But still in some states like Karnataka and Punjab take BAMS Admission without Neet. It depends on college and state. If you want specifically mention your state or preferable college clearly. That would be helpful to suggest you specifically.

Hope you have understood.
