Hello,
BElEd is bachelor of elementary education which is done after passing 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% aggregate, this course is more suitable in case you want to have a career in teaching, you can appear for various teaching exams such as CTET or state level TETs, on the other hand in order to pursue PhD, you have to complete your master's in relevant discipline from a recognized university, you can appear for UGC NET and qualify jrf, along with your higher studies you'll also get stipend, if you also qualify for assistant professor exam you can teach in university level, to appear in UGC NET you need to have 55% aggregate, in case of reserved category there is relaxation of 5%, for science stream candidates they have csir net which have disciplines like physical science, earth science, biological science, mathematical science and life science.
