Yes, HC verma for physics is good for more references you go for DC Panday.

- DC Pandey ( Optional)
- IE Irodov (you must solve this if you're aiming for a top 100 rank)

I have studied and solved HC Verma problems for physics which are of very good quality and thinking level. It is a very good book to strengthen your concepts for jee.
