Hello Aspirant....

An Internal Candidate is one who has passed the qualifying examination conducted by the university as a regular student not earlier than THREE (03) academic years from the date of admission to the course he/she is seeking admission to. And all other candidates shall be treated as External.

In view of the above, those who have passed qualifying examination as a regular student from Aligarh Muslim University during the session 2017-18 ,2018-19 & 2019-20 are Internal (Institutional) candidates. Candidates are required to check their eligibility before applying for Internal Seats of AMU. Also, only Institutional (Internal) candidates will be eligible for admission in the Final Mop Up Round (Stray Vacancy Round). A separate Notice/ schedule will be issued by the University for Final Mop Up Round (Stray Vacancy Round).
