The recruitment of qualified candidates is made under the following categories:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Yes you can obviously appear for IES exam whether you are from textile stream or any other.
It's not like that if you are from textile you can't appear. You need not to worry about it just focus on your studies and have believe on yourself you can crack it .
