Yes, you are eligible to pursue M.A in pychology after getting graduated from the non-psychology field. I am listing down some of the names of the colleges which will allow do an MA in psychology even from a non-psychology field.

Here are some colleges.

  • Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD)- Have to pass graduation with at least 45%marks.
  • Central University, Haryana- Have to pass graduation with 50%marks.
  • Central University, South Bihar- Have to pass graduation with 50% marks.
  • The University of Allahabad- Have to pass graduation with 60% marks.
  • Amity University- No minimum marks required.

and many more universities will give you admission in MA in psychology without from psychology background.

Yes, you can do means you are eligible for doing the MA in psychology.

Eligibility Criteria for doing M.A in Psychology are:

  1. Qualification Required- Candidates must graduate in any background from a recognized university. There may be colleges which only accept those who have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
  2. Minimum marks required- Candidates must secure a minimum 45% in order to be eligible for MA in Psychology.
  3. Selection Criteria- The candidates will either be shortlisted in the basis of one’s merit or entrance test performance. That completely depends on the college applied for.

And, if you fulfil these eligibility criteria that are mentioned above than you can go for the M.A in Psychology.

Yes,you are eligible to do ma in psychology

For M.a in psychology candidates must posses graduation degree with atleast 50 percent marks. colleges which allow students to do m.a in psychology after completing degree in other stream are

1. Andhra university

2. MADRAS university

3. Banaras hindu university

And many more
