After passing 12th Girls can join either the Indian Air Force or Indian Army as an Officer. There are various examinations conducted for girls after graduation which they can try out

The mode for girls to enter in Indian Air Force is:

Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & Women):-

• The age of the candidate should be between 19-23 years.
• The candidate should have Graduate degree (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 levelor BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

University Entry Scheme (UES):

Candidate must have completed Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) or Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical) stream. The following is the eligibility criteria:

• The age of the candidate should be between 18-28 years.
• Candidates applying for Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) Branch should have completing their engineering from ECE Stream and candidates applying for Aeronautical Engineer (Mech) Branch should have to complete their engineering from Mechanical Stream

You need to give the entrance test after 12th Science on the basis of PCB subjects. You will be able to become a qualified Doctor and serve the Armed Forces as a Doctor. Not just physician, you can also become a Physiotherapist, etc.

Post-retirement from the Defense also, you being an AFMC Doctor, will give you scope to start your own practice in civil life. Further, you can also get attached to hospitals, nursing homes, as Visiting or Specialist Doctor.
