Hi aspirant, for Physiotherapy course one should know;

• The Candidate must be Indian National . The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate /Additional District Magistrate/ Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of Nationality.
• Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent ) examination with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. &
• Candidate should be appeared for the AICET Examination conducted by this University and should get minimum 50% marks. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is a 4 year course that deals with augmenting the physical strength and mobility of individuals.

Students who wish to make their career in physiotherapy don't require to qualify the NEET entrance examination to get admission in BPT course.

Many institutions provide direct admission in the course based on the academic performance of student in senior secondary classes. Though some institutes like JIPMER conduct their seprate entrance test for admission in this programme.

Also the student must fulfill the eligibility criteria that is 10+2 education with science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
