Yes, you can definitely appear for the MBA exam even if you have an arts background. Many universities and business schools accept candidates from diverse educational backgrounds, including arts. The eligibility for MBA is that the candidate must have a bachelor's degree from any stream with minimum aggregate marks as 50%.
Hence, you can appear for MBA exam by taking arts. Although you might require to work a little harder for the entrance exams as they contain quants, there is nothing impossible.
