No you can't apply for SET entrance exam before passing your 12th board exams .
Only 12th passed students can apply for this exam .

Before applying for any entrance exam it is important to know the eligibility criteria. So for the SET entrance test eligibility is student must have passed 12th or equivalent course with minimum 40%- 50% marks .

You can't give SET entrance exam before passing 12th standard.

The eligibility criteria of SET entrance exam is that you need to pass your class 12 examination with 50% or 45% marks depending upon the course you are applying for.
