Dear candidate, it all depends on your hard work. Many students take drop, without any past preparation for JEE and do well in JEE Main and Advanced. 8-10 hours of regular study can make you do well in JEE Advanced. Ask yourself, can you study PCM and practice competitive questions for so much time. Try to do those questions first. If you can, then you should surely go for drop. Time Management is the key to success. Attempting maximum questions with correct answers in limited time. Some books like NCERT, HC Verma, MS Chauhan, OP Tandon, JD Lee, RD Sharma will help a lot. After completing topics, do not forget to revise. Do attempt previous years question papers and give mock tests. There is a pattern observed of maximum questions being asked from a particular topic in different subjects.
