Hello,
For Numerical Value Questions there is 1 mark negative marking for each incorrect answer and 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. It is not yet given in JEE Main 2022 Information Bulletin if a candidate can answer all 10 question or more than 5 questions in Section B (Numerical Based Questions) and if there are consequences if a candidate attempts more than 5 answers in Section B. We would suggest you to attempt only 5 questions in Numerical based questions as there is negative marking for these type of questions. The exam pattern is as follows

Type of questions Asked: Multiple choice questions (MCQs) & Questions with numerical value as answers
There are three sections

3. Chemistry
JEE Main Paper 2A
Type of questions Asked: Multiple choice questions (MCQs), Multiple choice questions Questions with numerical value as answers & Drawing aptitude
1.Mathematics: Multiple choice questions (MCQs), Multiple choice questions Questions with numerical value as answers 2. Aptitude: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
3.Drawing Aptitude
1. Mathematics: 25 (20 multiple choice Questions. And 10 numerical value questions, Out of 10 questions, 5 questions are compulsory)
2. Aptitude: 50
3.Drawing Test: 2
