Hello aspirant,

Cybersecurity, a specialized field within Information Technology (IT), is closely associated with computer science. Like other computer-related courses, a robust foundation in mathematics is essential, along with proficiency in analytical and statistical abilities.

So without having maths background it is not possible to do msc in cyber security.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

Hello,

The eligibility criteria requires a BSc/BE/BTech or any other comparable degree in Cyber Security or similar subjects such as Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate is required.

Almost any technical course in India these days requires the students to have elementary knowledge of mathematics. The cybersecurity field is no exception. To be able to pursue a career in Cybersecurity, you must be proficient in at least high school level mathematics.

hope this helps,

Thank you
