Hey aspirant,

YES, you can pursue Ph.D in physics after completing your UG degree in Engineering (in your case CSE). There are many institutes and universities both in India and abroad that allow engineers to pursue a masters degree and doctorate in physics.

ALL THE BEST!

Hello Harish,

Yes you are eligible to do phd in physics but ,I suggest you to go to gate exam for who are having dreams after b-tech.

First of all, do a lot of literature survey, read about the current trends.

Second, you should be very good in mathematics. Calculus, operators and basics in general.

You should have an intuitive sense on how every concept/formula exists.

If you are prepped with all these qualities, congrats, you have successfully adapted your self to be a suitable candidate for doing PhD in physics.

I hope it helps you.

Greetings

Yes you can do PHD in physics even if you are from a different educational stream like B.TECH cse. If you are a person who wants to do something about your passion go for it. You can become a research scholar/ professor and can do something significant in the field of physics.

All the best
