Hello, aspirant.
You have a very low score.
The 78th percentile is too low to be eligible for any of the NITs.
Through state counselling, you can apply to state engineering universities in your native state.
You might be able to get that.
As a result, you must apply for state-sponsored counselling.
You can use the college prediction tool to find out what universities you should attend based on your GPA, category, and home state.

Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great. 78 percentile is not considered to be a good score in jee mains . Your predicted rank with this percentile is 2,25,060-2,53,000 and with this rank chances to grab a seat in some government college is nearly negligible and especially when you belong to general category . But yes you can definitely apply for private colleges .
I hope my answer helps
All the very best!
