Hello Aspirant,

There are many other factors which plays a role in NEET admission process like students category, domicile etc. Since you haven't mentioned your category so assuming that you are a general category student, its really difficult for you to get a seat in government medical colleges. However you can get seats in few private medical colleges.

Hello Riyax!

According to NEET you need 400+ marks for getting government medical college. As you know NEET takes 720 marks entrance exam. And in that, if you get 500+ marks then you will get government medical college.

And below 500 marks student will get a private medical college. The student who is getting marks between 135 to 400 they can take admission on management quota.

And as you haven't mentioned your category so still there is hope for you!

Cutoffs changes every year as it is dependent on various factors like Number of students appearing for the paper, Difficulty of the Paper, Performance of the students in entrance, etc.

Previous year only the question was pretty easy and hence Cutoffs boomed.

But in general if you consider overall then with 400 you will to go for Private Universities only. No chance for Government College if you are a General Candidate and asking for MBBS.
