120 mark is too low for getting admission in bds. Expected cut off mark for general candidate is 137.  Minimum 350+ mark is needed for admission in dental colleges. Cut off will vary year by year but 350 is the safe score for getting admission for private bds colleges. A reputable dental college requires a score of 350 to 400, and if you fall into the unreserved group, you must obtain a score of at least 400.

The cutoff for private colleges will be approximately 120 (UR) or 95 (SC/ST). I made that assumption based on earlier data. So, there won't be much opportunity for admission.
