Candidates who have qualified in JEE Main are eligible to get admission in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs. The candidates who qualify in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. To get seat in an IIT you must qualify in JEE Advanced by scoring the minimum cut off marks. You cannot get admission in an IIT based on JEE Main score. To qualify in JEE Main you need to score the minimum cut off marks. This year the cut off marks to qualify in JEE Main are as follows

NO you cannot get admissions in IIT only by JEE Mains. To get admissions in IIT you have to give JEE Advanced and get the required cut off rank. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has declared the JEE Advanced result 2021 on October 15 at jeeadv.ac.in. Along with the results, the authorities have also releases the final JEE Advanced answer key 2021. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam date was October 3. JEE Advanced 2021 registration was open from September 16 to 20.
