Hi dear,
As per your mentioned rank 79879 in jee mains under obc category so it will be difficult to get admission into NIT. The minimum rank required for under obc category in jee mains is below 20000 respectively. You can check for your state NIT under home state category may get any last seat . You can chech for NIT cutoff rank from below link :
