Hey, bro i don't understand why you want to join such a worst college. Your category rank will be under 3k . And at this rank you can easily get cse, ece, or it branch in many of nit. You can also try your home state cse. Believe me any nit cse branch tag is very grater than pec tag.
And also you have a chance to increase your percentile. So, try to get 96 ++ percentile in April attempt and enter in top 4 nit of India with cse or it branch.
Rest is your choice.
All the best..

Hi dear,

You have scored 92.5 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 65175. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100

According to last year trend your category rank will be around 2k-3k. You have low chance to get cse in pec. If You can wait till spot round then you have some chance.

Hope it helps.

Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 65175.You can calculate your expected rank  by using the formula given below

(100-your total percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session. It can be calculated as (100-92.5)*869010/100=65175.

And your category rank will be around 1k-3k.

It is expected that 1200000 candidates appear in April Session. So your expected rank can be calculated as (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100.

Now,in 2019 the cut off rank was as follows for PEC, Chandigarh in 1st round. The ranks are opening and closing ranks respectively for SC category

  • CSE:692-1679

In round 7

  • CSE:692-1763

So considering this you may get seat in this college. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

You can predict the colleges in which you may get by using jee main college predictor
