Can I get direct admission in any good engineering colleges of Mumbai?

Just go with anush Joshi and also consider this point:

Private universities are there and you can get admission just by paying the fees more than the nominal there are ways, but you need to put more money to get into that.

Thanks for your question. First of all, I'm not sure what exactly you mean by 'Direct Admission'. Assuming it as an admission through management quota, let me make it very clear that admissions in all the government colleges and institutes are on the basis of merit only. All the top technical institutes in India are government (except universities like BITS Pilani, VIT, etc.). Top engineering colleges in Mumbai, like VJTI, SPCE, ICT, etc. are either govt. or deemed universities and hence their admissions are through CAP rounds only and there is no way of Direct Admission. But, still there are some reasonably good private colleges in Mumbai, where you could try to get Direct Admission through management quota. I hope I could answer satisfactorily.
