You need to score 500 to 600 to get govt college it's very hard with your marks if possible you need to try for private colleges because they allow students with low marks but their fees will be very high and this only the way to get the course you needed if you are looking for any specific college check their official website follow their notification

Hello!

With 350 marks in NEET 2025 under the EWS category it is difficult for you to get a seat in a government BAMS college because the cutoff for such colleges generally goes higher around 420 marks. Getting in top colleges is difficult but you can try in states that accept lower ranks.

Attend all the rounds of counselling you might get a seat in later rounds. Also keep you backup options ready for safer side.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you have qualified by just crossing the minimum NEET cutoff for BAMS (which for EWS is in the range of 144 marks).  However, the actual admission cutoffs for government AYUSH/BAMS colleges in 2025 will be much higher than this, generally landing in the range of 500 to 520 for EWS and you will be more eligible and qualified for counselling, however, 350 marks will not help you in getting a government BAMS seat.

Hello,

A score of 350 in NEET 2025 gives you a fair chance depending on your state, reservation category, and the cutoffs. Since you belong to the EWS category, your chances improve slightly because EWS has a reserved quota in many states. Generally, government BAMS (Ayurveda) colleges have cutoffs ranging from 300 to 420 marks depending on the state. For example, in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, many government Ayurveda colleges close around 330–370 marks for reserved categories. However, in highly competitive states like Maharashtra and Kerala, the cutoff may go higher. So with 350, you can definitely expect admission in semi-urban or rural government BAMS colleges, while top cities may still be a little tough.

Thank you, and I wish you success in securing a good BAMS college.

Yes possible you can get a Government college BAMS seat with 350 score in NEET considering having category of EWS
but you have to apply under Home State Quata instead of ALL INDIA QUATA which can increase your chances to get a seat
also cuttoff is different for different state for government colleges

Good afternoon, with a NEET 2025 score of 350 and belonging to the EWS category, your chances of securing a government BAMS seat are challenging but not impossible, especially in states with lower cut-offs or fewer applicants.

Expected NEET Cutoff for BAMS (Government Colleges, 2025)

General 470–520

OBC    450–500

EWS    460–510

SC    370–420

ST    350–400

You Can Do

State Quota Advantage: Some states (like MP, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, or Rajasthan) may have lower cutoffs for EWS in government BAMS colleges. Apply through 85% state quota.

AYUSH Counselling (AACCC): Participate in All India AYUSH Counselling for the 15% AIQ seats. You may get a seat in government-aided or semi-government colleges.

Backup Options:

Consider private BAMS colleges with scholarships or fee waivers for EWS.

Explore BSc Nursing or BPT programs where 350+ NEET scores are often sufficient.

Hello Kapil

With a score of 350 in NEET 2025 and being from EWS category, your chances of getting are good but it depends upon your state and this year cutoff.

For some states, the cutoff marks for BAMS have been even 340 while for the high demand states, it has been even gone up to 420+.

With 350 marks, you have a good chance slightly less competitive states or in later rounds.

Thank You!!!
