Hi there,

Firstly every year the total marks change in jee advance so thinking of a number before the exam is not going to help you.

Secondly since you are school category and you want to get into any IIT in any branch then you must try to score 30-35%percent of the total score.

This would get you a air of something around 5000 . This would get you into some IIT for sure.

No, you need to score at least above 50 percent score to get admission to IIT's. Even if you belong to st category, there is very less probability of getting seat through JEE Advanced exam to get IIT's. You can go with other NIT'S AND IIIT'S and other government colleges of your state.
