RV stands out to be the top colleges of karnataka probably the 1st in engineering after NIT surathkal, and cutoff for cse branch in all these years for all the categories have been within 2k-3k, so no you cannot get a seat in rv for cse but you wil get other good colleges which take in your rank for cse. Here are the list of colleges which take in your rank for cse - pes mandya  (in 2nd or 3rd round if you are gm) , malnad college , SIT and vidya vikas mysore. Good luck!
