B.A.-B.Ed. is a four-year integrated programme which aims at integrating general studies in arts and professional studies in education. It provides a wide knowledge base with emphasis on CTET/STET preparation.In simple terms, it is a teacher training program. Candidates who manage to pass this course are eligible to teach at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels in Indian schooling system.The course consists of BA program as well as B.Ed. program. Both these courses are combined to form an Integrated course. So, students won’t need to apply separately for B.Ed.!

BA B.Ed. Integrated course is 4 years long. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. Thus, the entire program consists of eight such semesters.A student has to face main external examination at the end of each year. Internal examinations are conducted by the concerned University/College/Institute at regular intervals.

Minimum qualification required is – 10+2 pass (Arts. Commerce or Science) from a recognized board. Minimum marks requirement may vary from one institute to another. Generally, it is around 45-55% aggregate marks.
