Hello,

After passing 12th standard male candidates can join Indian Airforce through NDA and the eligibility is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. So, you cannot join Indian Airforce if you are from commerce background. If you are interested you can join Indian Airforce through Group Y trades. The eligibility required is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with English with 50% marks from a recognized board. So if you have studied English in 10+2 and scored minimum 50% marks then you can apply if you are interested.

Hey!

Commerce stream students may join Indian Air Force as Officers (in Ground Duty Branches) after Graduation, not possible to join after 10+2, by appearing for AFCAT examination!  So, after completing graduation course Commerce stream students may appear for AFCAT entrance examination and join IAF's Ground Duty Branches.

Thank you
