Can i study bsc biotechnology where I have no physics and mathamatics in Higher Secondary Exam ?

Hey!

A B.Sc in biotechnology is a specialised undergraduate degree programme. The degree programme will take three years to complete. The combined study of biology and engineering is known as biotechnology. The course teaches students how to plan and conduct experiments to explore the life Processes and behaviour of living creatures such as cells, tissues, bacteria, fungus and algae.

The requirements for enrolling in a BSc. Biotechnology vary per institute. The minimal eligibility requirements for prominent institutions that offer BSc. Biotechnology Biotechnology are given below:-

  • Completion of 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is mandatory from a recognised board.
  • Individuals must get a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 from a recognised board.

The eligibilty criteria is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects and averaging 50 per cent marks.

DUET, CUET, JMIEEE are entrance exams for taking admission in this course on basis of merit level.

As you do not meet the eligibility criteria, you can't pursue this course in India.
